My name is Courtney, and I am just a simple girl living in the Midwest with a passion for art and story-telling. I am a wife to an amazing, handsome, better-than-I deserve man, and we live on the outskirts of St. Louis in our little "farmhouse," loving on our sweet baby girl, Eastlyn, and pup, Charlie. Together we love the Lord, the great outdoors, and cheez-its. I am a wedding photographer, creative, and hand letterer by trade, and most days you can find me at home, editing or covered in ink and paper with said baby and pup.
I have a huge desire for authenticity, both in life, photography, and design. At the heart of what I do is a girl that fell in love with love and became a hopeless romantic at a very early age. I believe that your wedding photos should tell your unique love story and be jumping off the page with all the real emotions, joy, laughter, and tears that filled your day. I truly believe that the most beautiful things in life are the most authentic, so that's what I chase after every time.
Beyond that, and most importantly, I am a Child of God - and I truly give him credit for every victory in this business. I am incredibly passionate about what I do, and love having the privilege of shining a light on His creation. How great a gift to be given the joy and honor of sharing His light. I am also a lover of nature and all things wild & free - sun flare, golden light, green fields, tall trees - I'm there. A Mississippi girl, born and raised in the middle of a cotton field; we recently put in a porch swing so that I can sip my sweet tea and pretend my St. Louis neighborhood is the deep south. Baking is my therapy, and I consider myself a bit of a cookie connoisseur. I went to college for English Education, and somewhere along the way, fell into what I know now is my calling.
Lastly, I consider myself incredibly blessed to be a witness to such precious moments.
To not only document your day, but to be your friend and to celebrate with you. To help you fix fly-away hairs and cry as you say your vows (because, without fail, I'm going to cry at some point of your day!). The honor and privilege of all of it is not lost on me. I truly love every single minute of what I do, and I would love nothing more than to call you friend and be there to tell your story.
